    The Opportunity

    Join the Grounds team at Emirates Old Trafford and play a key role in delivering world-class playing surfaces. As a Casual Grounds Staff, you’ll support the preparation and maintenance of pitches and surrounding areas to the highest professional standards. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to work in a prestigious cricketing environment, contributing to match-day readiness and the ongoing upkeep of one of the country’s leading venues. Ideal for those with a passion for sport and outdoor work, this opportunity provides valuable experience within a dedicated and high-performing team.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and outfield areas to meet professional standards
    • Supporting match-day operations, ensuring surfaces are presented to the highest quality
    • Carrying out routine grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, marking, watering, and general upkeep
    • Helping to prepare training and practice facilities for use by players and teams
    • Operating and maintaining a range of groundskeeping equipment and machinery (training provided where required)
    • Working collaboratively with the Grounds team to deliver a safe, clean, and high-performing environment
    • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
