    About Us

    We at Lancashire Cricket Club are seeking a dedicated Cricket Development Officer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and growth of cricket in the local community.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote cricket at the grassroots level.
    • Organize and oversee cricket development programs and initiatives.
    • Work closely with schools, clubs, and other organizations to increase participation in cricket.
    • Identify and nurture talented young players to support their progression in the sport.
    • Collaborate with coaching staff to deliver high-quality training sessions and workshops.
    • Assist in the organization of cricket tournaments and events.
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of cricket development activities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cricket development.

    Qualifications

    • Passion for cricket and a strong understanding of the game.
    • Previous experience in cricket coaching or development roles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Relevant qualifications in sports management or a related field.
