Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards.
• Provide safeguarding training and support to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
• Investigate safeguarding concerns and incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safeguarding cases.
• Collaborate with external agencies and authorities on safeguarding matters.
• Monitor and evaluate safeguarding practices to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a safeguarding role within the sports or leisure industry.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Relevant safeguarding training and certifications.
