Why work for us?
In return for your hard work and commitment and to ensure that working for the Club is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible, we’re delighted to be able to offer the following benefits to all our employees.
Lancashire Cricket Club was formed in 1864 and is one of eighteen first class counties within the domestic structure of England and Wales. The Club’s home, Emirates Old Trafford, is an award-winning world-class venue which is recognised as one of the UK’s most prestigious and versatile spaces for sport, business, leisure, and entertainment, with the capacity for up to 50,000 concert goers; 26,000 spectators for international cricket and events and meeting spaces that can cater for up to 2,000 attendees. The stadium is home to a 150-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn hotel, which has 85 pitch facing rooms, and an on-site Caffè Nero.
Over the years Emirates Old Trafford has played host to some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including international test matches and ICC World Cup games, as well as concerts by world famous artists including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, and Harry Styles. During the summer there are numerous County, T20 and The Hundred format cricket matches and throughout the year there will always be meetings, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, and parties taking place somewhere on site.
Alongside Lancashire Cricket Club is the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, which works across the communities of Lancashire to develop and deliver a range of projects, programmes and events designed to increase participation levels in the game. Established as the official charity of Lancashire Cricket, the Foundation provides governance for the recreational game and high-quality experiences that make a positive difference to the lives of the individuals and communities we engage with.

‘To be both a welcoming and inclusive place to come to work, play or watch’
In order to deliver on this promise we are continually looking to improve our recruitment processes and practices and strongly believe that candidate experience should be at the heart of everything we do. We are therefore proud to have signed the Good Recruitment Charter and to be a part of the Good Recruitment Collective, with this acting as a solid foundation and guide for everything that we are trying to achieve. Details of the nine key principles that form the Good Recruitment Charter can be found here.
We are an equal opportunities organisation and we are committed to striving for greater diversity and providing new opportunities that are accessible to all. It is our priority to ensure our Club appropriately reflects the wider communities across the North West and we would therefore welcome applications from individuals, with the appropriate skills and experience, that will enhance the current diversity mix at the Club.
